Sunday January 20
Teju Ologboni and the Pleasant Street Baptist Children’s Choir perform at the Westerly Public Library, 44 Broad Street, Westerly, RI at 2 pm. Free.

RIBS and Teju present a Family Storytelling Concert at Cornerstone Playhouse at True Blue Café, 213 Robinson Street Wakefield, RI. 6 pm. Tickets $10.00

Monday, January 21
MLK Amazing Grace with Valerie Tutson and Rochel Coleman
Providence Children’s Museum, 100 South Street, Providence.
11 am, 1 and 2:30 pm.
$6.50
This moving program brings the people of the Civil Rights movement to life through stories and song.

Friday, January 25
6:30 pm: Family Storytelling Concert
Kevin K. Coleman Elementary School, 96 Second Ave, Woonsocket, RI. Donations.

8 pm: Spoken Word
Trinity Restoration, INC, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 393 Broad St., Providence. Riders Against the Storm, Spittin Images, and more share their storytelling styles in rhythm and rhyme.

Saturday: January 26
Free FAMILY FUNDay:
10 am -3 pm at the Providence Public Library, 150 Empire Street in Providence.
10-11: 30 am: Intergenerational workshop from 10- 11: 30 am with Jamaica’s leading storyteller, Amina Blackwood Meeks.
12 noon- 1 pm: STORY SWAP from 12- 1, Bring a story to share!
1:30-3 pm: Family Storytelling Concert.

Saturday Night: Not Just for Kids
RIBS and guests tell stories at the RISD Auditorium, 17 Canal Street, Providence.
Tickets $10/advance. $15/door. www.arttixri.com.
7 pm: Doors open for the African Market Place. 8 pm, Storytelling Concert.

Sunday, January 27
FUNDA FEST concludes with a Family Storytelling Concert at 2 pm, at the Martin Luther King Center, 20 Marcus Wheatland Boulevard in Newport. Donations.
