Mission:

Rhode Island Black Storytellers (RIBS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the awareness, appreciation, and application of Black Storytelling in Rhode Island through performance, educational, and cultural experiences.

About RIBS:

Annually, RIBS presents FUNDA FEST: A Celebration of Black Storytelling.  This much anticipated and highly visible event is the flagship RIBS program and reaches a statewide audience of several thousand.  In addition, throughout the year we offer storytelling workshops for youth, and RIBS appears at other community events.
